Hi all! I hope you could help me with this?
I'm interested in a folder designed by James Keating and manufactured by SPYDERCO called "CHINOOK", i'm wondering if anyone knows when it will be release to the public? What are the specs.? All i know is that it will have the same rolling lock mechanism REKAT uses. I thank you in advance.
 
Well, there was a tread in the Spydie forum last week about it. It will not have the rolling lock anymore. Looks more like a linerlock. Not sure on the steel type. You might want to refer to the tread. Hope this helps.

Ok here a primer on copy and paste.

Highlight the line you want to copy by dragging the mouse over it..

Then hold CTRL (Control button) down and hit C

When you want to paste it hit CTRL V.. Easy..

Remember to always put in "" instead of >> because some web boards see this as HTML code,, and it won't show...

Don't put it in quotes! And don't put a period at the end of it! Just paste or write the url into your message and UBB will make it into a link -- but if there's any punctuation next to it that confuses its widdle silicon head....

You know, if you were to go to the Spyderco forum and ask these questions, you`d get the latest info on the Chinnok from Sal Glesser himself. You really can`t beat that!

For the record, Sal announced a few months back that they were unable to come to terms with REKAT for the use of the rolling lock. Bummer.
 
Hi Steve,
I've tried posting in the Spydie forum regarding the "POLICE MODEL" sometime back but somehow, my post was ignored and i quit posting there.
I wonder why? I'm sure SAL is a great guy but not a single reply for weeks?........
