Buy a nice Husky, open up the muffler and let it rip. Seriously if you are looking into a chainsaw go to arboristsite.com They have some excellent info.

About 30 years ago I bought a two man chain saw at an auction for $20 ( only bid).It had a 6' bar,which could be locked in the vertical or horizontal position. I took it home, tore it down,and cleaned it up. When I started it,it sounded like an indy race car warming up.There were curved shoulder rests on the operator end.The engine was huge.I sold it to a local landscape company for $300 ( they were grinning from ear to ear ).
