I can relate, I'm new to Emerson knives too. I bought my third Emerson in three weeks this morning, a Super CQC8. I bought the horseman first, a CQC8 next and completed the set today. All are satin finish serrated.
I've had them shipped to the office so I don't get in trouble at home. "Why do you need another knife?!" - I know that is a common question for people like us!
Now my 23rd, 24th and 25th in two years. Each one, unique!
I love my Emersons and Benchmades best of all. The Benchmade Nitrous Blitz is a great knife, too.
