I need some Beckerhead Ideas

First, big thanks to moose to pushing to make this happen, well and all the other fellow beckerheads that contributed to this as well!!!

Depending on Ethan/KaBars reaction I wonder the possibility (prolly slim) that we could get our BH numbers on a knife???? Bk13's???? I know they are small but the one I got on my BK9 has proven it's use. Or just option for engraving at all....longshot?

I do like the custom scales idea as well, what would make it even more custom than your own number on a pair?

I understand both options fall in the "not-so-cost-effective" manner but I would shell out for another Becker (like I need the excuse) with my BH#!

Sorry, meant getting a beckerhead number on the bk 13, smaller - more cost effective...the sentence should have read "with" rather than "on". :foot:

I was distracted while playing with a new folder the wifey randomly snagged for me today (Kershaw Leek). :confused:
 
We shall see what I can make happen, but first, we have to get it going. I'm doing what I can at the moment, but, everything has to be done right, or it will fail. It's that simple. I need Becker/Kabars approval for the logos, I need to get said merch made and distributed to the Beckerheads, I need to get contests going, with Bladite and BF's approval. I want this to be a long term, solid project, that will promote Becker/Kabar knives, Bladeforums, and the Beckerheads. We start with patches, with time, energy, and investments, we wind up taking 50 Beckerheads to Blade Show in Atlanta. See what I mean? But it has to be done right and not half assed, or it fails.

Trust me, I am working daily to make sure this doesn't fail.

Moose, I agree 100%. I'm a firm believer in "anything worth doing, is worth doing right".

Well, I finally got a lunch with Ethan in 2 weeks from today, and I promise, all we will talk about is Beckerheads. Between his schedule and mine, its just not happened, now we have a dedicated lunch just for the Beckerheads.

The first round of quotes was not all that great, so, round 2 has commenced. Merch out for quotes now are: Patches, Challenge Coins, Nalgene Bottles, and Dog tags. The Olicamp Nalgene cups are still getting pricing back to me.

The Beckerhead welcome package should go as this: 1 BKT Patch with your BH# on it, 1 GG 1/4"x2 1/2" misch firesteel, and Smoky Moutain R&D Rapidfire Capsule Kit(http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=785925). Not much, but hey, its a start.

I'll keep ya'll updated as thing change, or start.

OK, I missed your thread about the rapidfire capsules first time around -- those are too cool for words! (speaking as an ex-science teacher)
I also have a tac-tool on the way, but that patrol machete looks good!
