The bright point, besides her being ok, is how she described the look on the other drivers face when he saw her uniform.

We were on our way to go shooting in PA, after meeting up with my brother after he got off duty.
Bastard ran a stopsign and plowed into my bro's Z-24. He practically started to cry when he saw my brother's uniform.

Aly just called, she was hit by a drunk driver at 3 this morning coming home from work, her Ranger is totalled. She walked away from it, I love pickups! My family could sure use some good luck for a change.

I am really glad she came through it okay.

I hate drunks.

I know. If it had hit a foot farther back things would not have been so good. This was my truck for 4 years, Aly just got it from me last August.

Well some good news at last. The insurance cut her a check, so tomorrow she is picking up her new loaded black and silver F150 4X4, extended cab. We were shopping Tuesday, and she fell in love with it. Now if I can convince her to buy one for me too, everybody will be happy!
