I need some help peening 1/8" SS pins..

I use L-shaped temporary pins for the assembly, and the reason I don't just epoxy them in any more and cut/sand them flush is that...it's not that hard to get the temporary pins out, even after letting GFlex set overnight- I just give em a twist with a plier and press them out on my drill press. That tells me that they weren't doing much to hold the scales on. Of course, it would be different if the pins were roughed up or notched...

An interesting idea. Why bother with temporary ones at all?
