I need some Spyderco help...

I'm guessing you'll end up comparing it to your Cold Steel Mini AK-47..
How'd you know? :D
Haha
And for the people asking about what im using them for:
I like to be able to have an EDC handle a bit of everything. My EDC ends up in the woods "cutting" wood (no, not batoning), slicing, and even sometimes food here and there.
My EDC goes everywhere and gets used in a variety of places and applications.

marthinus, thanks for that link about the FRN handle destruction test! It's just the kind of thing I was looking for, since I had doubts about the material. Great!

About the Para2 vs Delica dilemma: "get them both" is a good advice :) Otherwise think about their future use: if you're going to trash on the blade and maybe you won't keep it clean and oiled all the time, save some money and get the Delica; if you're a knives maniac (like many of us), make a gift to yourself and buy a Para2.

I realize I'm fairly new here, so take my comments with a grain of salt.

I currently own two Delica4s, one Saber grind and the other FFG. I also have a PM2 with a second one on the way. Since I work in a factory/manufacturing environment that's firearm related, knives and firearms are both viewed as everyday items, pretty much regardless of size (within reason). So carrying the PM2 isn't a problem for me at all. I tend to rotate my primary knives a bit (trying to decide what my "priorities" are in regards to knife EDC), but I always keep a secondary knife handy, and that role is filled by the Delica. I do this for a variety of reasons. One, it's a fairly "public friendly" knife, so it's easy to hand off to others if needed, two, I won't be out much if it gets lost or broken, and three, two is one, and one is none. ;)

The theme of "get both" is popular for a reason. You'll find regular use for both of them. If I had to chose one, for me it would be the PM2, however.
