You know what, I was thinking that I won't be able to use any of slippies with my arm in a sling!! Bummer. Thank you ALL for the prayers!! I really appreciate it. I will keep you posted on how it goes.

Maybe not, but you could use them in the rehab process after that. Probably ought to hold on to them anyways. :)

Good luck. Don't forget your dogs will help you get better quicker. They have some kind of majic in them I believe. Joe

My dear frined, I haven't had surgery yet!! Dec. 19th. I dunno how long I will be in the sling. And YES, I can type one handed, and WILL!!
 
I know you got a couple of days to go but I wanted to be sure to tell you that you will be in our thoughts and prayers on Friday. We wish you an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery!!

Thank you kindly Rick & Colleen! I really appreciate the prayers and thoughts. My surgery is 13:15 on Friday the 19th.

I am in so much pain, that I am REALLY looking forward to the suregery. I am sure that it will go well.

I will be typing on handed for a long while though.
 
I hope that all went well with your surgery and that recovery time will be minimal. Get well lady.
 
The surgery went well. I was told that my elbow was quite a mess.
I am out of work for 6-8 weeks.

Glad the surgery is behind you and theat it went well. Now have a great Christmas, and enjoy! (Rehab coming up).
 
Good to hear the fix is "in," and now you can relax and enjoy the holidays.

You'll be healed up before you know it.
