I need the colective knowledge of a big forum to find an EDC knife that meed my needs

That Boker was in my mind as well but I wasn't thinking about changing the scales. Thats the ticket.
Does any one offer replacement scales ?

Yep, boker does. In fact, the even sell them like that straight from the factory in cocobolo, carbon fiber, black G10 and Ti.

Jus find your favorite supporting vendor and buy one brand new.

The Benchmade Crooked River seems to fit your needs fairly well, in my opinion.

What about a boker urban trapper with a set of wood scales?

Well it has wood on it.... but it doesn't have that traditional feel to me. Good find though.

Makes me think of a modern folder with custom wood scales. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1024874-My-newly-modded-Chokwe?p=11692196#post11692196

A one handed laguiole knife is fat but otherwise fits the bill.

Wow, just wow, you have just found mi knife! I dit not know laguiole had one handed knives, where can i fin this model and how much would it cost, laguiole isn't exactlly cheap

I'll try to find a cheap one, i have so far only found them arround 200 eur, if anyone knows of a cheaper source, i'll be very very thankfull.

Laguiole is a style of knife originating from the laguiole area of france. Typically they are slip joints. That particular backlock system was pioneered by fontenille pataud. I do not know if others also make them.

There are others that make knives in the laguiole style though... forge aubrac comes to mind as a another quality maker. There is a maker called actiforge but I have not seen their work in person so I won't comment on quality.

There are a lot of low cost imported replica knives built in the laguiole style.... Quality will be all over the place. The ones I have seen were not impressive.

Finally you could look at other regional knives. There are nice less known knives coming out of the Thiers knifemaking region of France and others. If you are interested have a look at MrDagon007 on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL27AF169F070B022D

Ontario Knife Company RAT I

It's a folder with a 3.5" blade,
It's slim and light,
it has a flat ground,
it can open extremely easily and quickly with just a flick of the wrist,
and it locks up as tight as a bank vault.

The best part? It's only $26 USD

It's doesn't have a classic traditional look, but it's not eccentric by any means. It's a simple and sleek look. I have the RAT II which is just the slightly smaller version, and it's been a great knife. I have no complaints about it.

The boker trapperliner might fit your needs. Also the exskelibur model is a slim easy to carry n use model. There is a.Good review of the titanium model in review section. They are available in a few different wood models. I like the cocobolo n Damascus model they just added.
The Al Mar shrike model is one to check out as well.
