I need help ID'ing a makers mark, A friends wife gave him a knife that was forged out of a horseshoe. Very nice workmanship. The makers mark is a lightning bolt with a W on each side. kind of like % if the 0 = W and / = the lightining bolt. The lighting bolt could be seen as a "S".
Thanks for any help..

PS: this is why it is important to mark your blades with your name. If someone wanted another knife like this one there is no way to find out who made it.

You have to post a picture to even have a chance of identifying it.

You may also have better luck posting up a thread with pictures in the Bernard Levine knife identification forum here as well.

Bump for new info. The makers mark is 2 W's seperated by a lighting bolt that could be seen as an S.
