Hi guys,

I am about to push the trigger and buy a Fallkniven F1 pro, that will very lilely become my small companion blade..

After watching/reading all the possible review on the internet, I feel this knife has been described quite well, but I really miss some action.

I'd love to see some pic and hear comments from F1 pro users and F1 standard users as well, to better understand what knife I'm gonna buy and if it's really worth the price.

So...can you show us your F1's in action?

Cheers

I have one and I'll get back with more pic's!

Thank you Mikael...are you happy with this knife?
I really love Fallkniven's...I own an A1 from long time and I think it's one of the best survival knife ever,
a recently added A2 that is simply amazing...and I wish to pair it with the F1 Pro

If you haven't seen it, this thread has great look at enthusiastic use of an A1 Pro compared to an A1. It has updates through the thread, and even an interesting plot twist or two.

Also check out DBK on youtube, one of the guys there has some action vids with the F1 pro, and lots with the A1 pro.

Yes, I like the F1 Pro!
I think it reminds more of an army version of the NL5, rather than the regular F1.
I'm not in the military and I mostly use my fixed blades at my work as a Kitchencarpenter.

What I need at work is a Moraknife, but I often carry a highend knife from Fällkniven or Bark River.
The cobalt steel in the Pro series, is very easy to sharpen, yet it hold an edge very well and has a lot of toughness.

It's possible to do fine work, even if it's built for the tougher jobs.
The sheath is comfortable on the belt and hold the knife tight, with no risk of falling out accidentally

The first pic shows the Pro in use, cutting away glue prior to installing a new kitchen worktop ( bad cellphone pic).
The second pic is the Pro together with the NL5 and a custom full exposed tang F1.

Wut! You post on a knife forum asking for pics of a semi-expensive production knife actually being used for its intended purpose instead of just being taken out of a safe and shown decoratively placed with props for photo op - preposterous!!!
:D

All kidding aside - no need to hesitate; Fallkniven makes quality albeit pricey knives. If you have the dough, go ahead and buy it. They make some very nice knives.

Good luck with it.

Mikael... beautiful knife set! Really!

Thanks, they are all good knives for sure!
Out of these 3, my personal choice is the NL5 because of the looks and the feel of the stacked leather.
For a hardworking tool, the Pro is a no compromise choice.
