I need your opinions PLEASE! Sebenza

I like the Microtech's too but couldn't find one with solid Ti handles.

Thanks so much everyone for all your opinions! I really appreciate it. I'm going to try to get one. Whats my next step for fund raising? Do I take up a collection. Ha I wish. Thanks again everyone, Dave

I am suprised that nobody has suggested the Klotzli KL300/500. Now that is a knife that is the epitome of pocket carry. Just my .02

Dave,
If you need pretty looking lightweight knife with thin handle please take your look onto BENCHMADE Model 940 Osborne.

If you definitely want titanium handle please think about KERSHAW Ti-Hawk

or it's smaller brother Wild Turkey. This last looks exactly like Ti-Hawk but is somewhat smaller and weights 2.5 oz only. If you will remove the pocket clip it will be even lighter.

For $255 you probably could buy all three mentioned

Please don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Sebenza but it would be very sad if we all would like the same knife

Dave, If you want a knife for slacks, then I would think you would want a knife that is a little more dressy. I would go with Gary, and look into a William Henry. They are a very well made knife, and they are around the same price as the Sebe.

Which ever you decide Good Luck!

I do not find the small sebenza too large at all for pocket carry. I have small hands and almost find the small seb too small. I second (third?) the vote for a small apogee; it has a slightly longer blade (3.125 in), handle (4.125 in) and less deep handle. The plain titanium model is comparable in price to the small seb ($325 vs $305) and has some very nice detailing not found on the sebs.

Very true, but lets think here.. Small Sebby vs. ANY Spydie.. we're looking at 2x the price in most situations.

When you can get 2 Spydie's for 1 Benza, one cannot honestly expect the same quality. Although, and I've handled many a Spyderco but not a Sebenza, Spyderco's quality is unparalleled for the price.

I think the William Henry spearpoint would be perfect. Custom quality, slightly smaller than a sm. Sebenza, the carbon fiber version is weightless at 1.6oz. Get a new Clipcase and your set. Wish I had your problems!

I truly appreciate everyone's input but I really like the small Sebenza. After much thought I am going to join the "Seby" crowd. Now I have to find the best price which I may already have at $255.00 shipped. Thanks so much again, Dave
