I need your prayers please....

Krav
My friend, I don't know how you feel, but I know the fear your wife is feeling, as I am one year after having been through a major operation with Bowel Cancer, at 49 years old I wasn't prepared for that...
When they scanned me there were spots on my lungs and Liver - and there were fears that it had spread in my Pelvis...
thankfully the spots turned out to be non cancerous on my Lungs and Liver - although there are still problems with my Liver- and of course I carry a lot less Bowel than what I used to as well as 49 less Lymph Nodes... please research what WHEATGRASS juicing can do against cancer cells - I am NOT into this alternative stuff, but there is something very very convincing in ALL results of wheatgrass tests... I only write this because of the concern and knowledge of the fear that is taking you family hostage.
I hope all the very very best for you and your wife, and of course her son..... all of our thoughts to you from us here in New Zealand

My thoughts and prayers for you also.
Wow, I have wheat grass in our house now, a juicing machine for wheat grass coming any day now. Both of us switched our diet to raw greens and vegetables no meat, no dairy, no sugar.

We are going for a second opinion, at duke medical. The hospital we went to (unc) they are all over the place with there diagnosis. How do you send someone home who is having trouble breathing and not do anything, or give them anything to help it, or get the fluid out of her lungs. Then they say it appears to be aggressive , and we need another biopsy, but those people aren't in untill next week, we will call you, no call yet. And saying they don't know if they can cure my wife, but they don't know where it began or what cancer it is yet. Idiots....

My thoughts and prayers go with you Krav 2 things to remember from a hospital veteran, you need to always be proactive instead of reactive when it comes to doctors, always make sure they explain everything to your satisfaction, they're always in a rush so make them slow down.

Another thing, always bring donuts for the nurse's station when a loved is in the hospital, the staff is always more attentive after they know there's free food available. Don't give up, stay positive.

I'm not a doctor and am therefore not qualified to offer any medical advice - nor am I doing so now. I am just passing on something that I heard a naturopathic doc once say. He stated that cancer cannot grow in an alkaline environment, and if a person got their PH above 7-7.5, cancer cannot exist in their body at all.

What I can tell you is that PH test strips and alkalizing mineral drops can be purchased at most any health food store....

Yes, I heard the same thing, disease cannot exist in a alkaline body. I like the pool theory. When we open up our pool for the spring it has algae in it, you raise the ph, algae dies off, and you vacuum it off the bottom of the pool.

It is a big change to eat all alkaline. Lots of foods are also filled with fungus, like nuts, potatoes, meats.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate you guys.

Smoke on the way KRAV. Always hope for the best. It might just work with a little help from your friends.
My grandson was born 4/30 and they found him unable to breathe on his own. He was diagnosed with Tracheoesophegeal fistula and Esophogeal atresia. Basically, this means his air system and his food system got confused, co-mingled, and short circuited. He went to surgery the next day. He had tubes everywhere and a drug cocktail that would knock out a seasoned junky. Fortunately all went well and he was home by 5/12, less than 2 weeks. This was at the UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, which has one of the finest Neonatal groups in the country. The Doctors had never seen anyone recover so fast from this condition and man ,were we glad. Smoke and prayers do work. I have seen it on many occasions. And I'm an atheist. Go figure. Hang in there and never give up. Your friend, kevin

We have a appointment with Jeffrey Crawford (may 27),very well know lung doctor at duke medical. They said if someone can do something it's this guy.

I'm tearing up putting myself in your shoes! I pray to God that she will recover completely ASAP!

I hope this doctor is able to help you guys out! More prayers sent...

Continuing to keep you in our prayers, you and your Wife and family.

We just got back from duke medical. Good news is, it NOT small cell cancer, which is very aggressive and moves fast.
They are going to do another biopsy and have all the specialist look over the test and X-rays from unc hospital.
They will contact us after wendsday for this appointment.

On top of all this my transmission and my brakes on my work van went out, got her towed this morning to get it back on the road. And my best friend just died this morning of sorosis of the liver, his wife called me crying this morning saying she had to make the choice to let him go or stay on life support.

I don't feel I can ever repay all the prayers and positive thought you guys are sending our way.
Thank you.

Keep as positive attitude as You can through this.
Good Luck with Your van also.

Krav, repayment is as simple as keeping the faith and a positive attitude, and keeping us up to date. Prayers and healing thoughts continue.
