O.K. all, I have never been one to express my faith/religion, but I feel I need some help on this one. Eventhough I don't "suscribe" to one particular religion, I am still a spiritual being, and for that matter I ask your help.
Not for me, but for my baby girl. She has to go in for surgery this coming Monday. Nothing really new for "us" but I am getting a bad feeling about the whole deal. She was born with only one lung and has Ping Pong balls in place of the other. Yeah, really, ping pong balls. They are there to keep all her internals in line and not to twist off her airway.
4 and 3/4 years ago they put four in, and now they need to take the old ones out and put five or six more in. This will be major operation number 15 or 16, I kinda started to loose count, cause of other complications.
Now, don't get me wrong here, she is a vivasious little 7 year old, and she would hate me telling you all her secrets, but there is that feeling I have, and I don't like it.
So, if you could, throw some blessings this way, I would greatly appreciate it. Unlike my other posts, I don't need to "hear" or see your replies to give me affirmation. A silent prayer/wish would be fine with us.
So, If I am not here bothering you all with my wanting need for criticism, or other out-landish posts for the next few days/weeks you know where I have been, hanging out in the most dreadful place I can imagine, the Hospital.
Some of you all have had a chance to hear her on PalTalk, so you know how she is. Good GOD, she got her attitude from her old man
. But anyway I would appreciate your thoughts/prayers, no matter what form they take.
GOD bless us all, and hopefully he/she can see fit to throw a bit extra my way this time.
