I never knew this place existed

OH my. In all honesty, I do tend to abuse the comma. This much is for certain! In life I’m a numbers and measurements guy, and writing was never my strong suit.

This is almost embarrassing to admit...

I stumbled upon this forum by accident while looking to hoard more knives. I’ve been collecting some decent pocketknives for about five years now, and was starting to feel that I was going it alone. Never in my life did I think I would ever have want or need of a knife such as a giant Medford Praetorian, Microtech OTF, or Protech TR2, Reeve Sebenza, or a ZT ......but nonetheless, here we are.

This place is good, and it’s good to know that there are others like me. I’m learning a lot here, and I’d like to extend a huge thanks to whomever it was that created this forum!

Your not alone, i stumbled on this forum just recently whilst looking for a fixed blade, i never knew there were so many knife brands, but also its great to know of those small knife makers out there who are hardly heard of or known.

I've only owned 2 knives. An Esse Izula and Esse RC3. Sold the RC3 and gave the Izula away, so now i have nothing but i finally found the knives i want from Sage Blades so my search has finally ended thanks to this forum.

Thank you Bladeforums!

Welcome aboard. Prepare for your taste in knives to change. It will happen if you hang around here long enough.

A new member and already a "Gold" member. That's impressive. Glad to have you with us.

I've always felt like the ellipsis is the best way to separate thoughts while writing...at least for me anyway... :D

I kind of like using it to show incomplete thoughts in an incorrect, tortured sort of way. It’s a bad habit I picked up from another forum. There was foul language, intentional misspelling, and humor at the complete expense of others. Nothing was verboten. As a result, I usually have any professional correspondence proofed by my resident language arts/writing major before I hit send.

We should warn you that you have stumbled into a virtual drug den for knife addicts. For the sake of your wallet and sanity, this may be a good time to turn tail and run off screaming into the night.

However, if you decide to stay, you are welcome. Just kick back relax and enjoy the interesting and colorful hobby that we share.
