I never realized what I was missing until I held a Cold Steel Voyager in my hand. The one I purchased was a large Cold Steel Voyager clip point. I can't believe the quality at this price point. This is unbelievable. From the standpoint of value for the money, this knife has no equal. It is robust, sharp as razor and capable of anything from light duty to heavy duty work. It will seem large to carry for some people, but not for me. I have smaller Spyderco and Benchmade edc knives that I love, and this won't take their place. That said, there's nothing that the Cold Steel Voyager cannot do. If you could only have one folding knife, this would be the do-everything knife, and I got mine for under 50 bucks. Cold Steel shows you value in the Cold Steel Voyager, a premium workhorse knife at an unbeatable value for your money - it's just that GOOD!!!

Voyages are still one of my most carried models .

Especially the Vaqueros ! :thumbsup:
I got a fully serrated Vaquero but not a signature model. I haven't used it much lately. I prefer to carry my large Espada in G10. I prefer the Espada because it has the wave feature however it can get heavy. I'll switch back to the Voyager eventually by the way that's a very nice blade you have there. Good luck finding one of them

My Thompson is thus far a vault queen , which is probably stupid at my age . I really should just use it !

I got it cheap, at the time . Should have bought a case of them .

I have two old AUS8A models , one serrated and one PE . Sometimes I carry both .

Both are waved . Snaggletooth on one and homemade on the other .

The homemade one , just a piece of twisted fencing wire , works better than any other wave opener I have ! :)

This write up sounds vaguely familiar...😎

I have a Voyager. It's ok. It's the XL version, so maybe that's why I'm kinda meh on it. It certainly has a solid lock up, but I find the Triad Lock to be kind of sticky and difficult to engage. The width of the blade as well as the needed space for the locking mechanism make for an overly long and wide knife to carry.

It's fine for the pricepoint, but beyond being big and locking up solid, I'm not really sure what it excells at over other knives. I keep mine in a tool pack in my truck. It has a few odds and ends for emergency/unexpected use. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to use the Voyager in a pinch, and I believe I could count on its strength to not fail under hard use. However, beyond being a knife I don't mind buggering up and holding up well to abusive chores, I kinda don't have much use for it.

Got my Voyager XL tanto for $25 in a package deal, absolutely worth it, keen, keen knife, I like the steel. It's not too bad to carry, and just has that Cold Steel "awesome" factor. I love mine.
