I never realized what I was missing until I held a Cold Steel Voyager in my hand...

I thought of that but it's really just too big you need to wear suspenders to keep your pants up. They are nice but not for carrying around
They are surprisingly light - I can carry the G-10 Espada XL in sweatpants on walks, no problem. The XL Voyager is a breeze.

I certainly like the Voyager, and own a couple. It's a great value.

Really the only thing that I don't care for is the handle is set up to really only allow a forward grip.
On the XL models should work fine ?

Does for me , anyways , with my small side of medium mens glove size .

Are your hands , uh...different ? Or are we talking the smaller models .

The regular size. If you hold it in a way that to perform pull cuts or or side hold cuts it just doesn't work well due to the judicious finger grooves.

I still really like the knife though. The blade tapers to a nice thin point.

Got my Voyager XL tanto for $25 in a package deal, absolutely worth it, keen, keen knife, I like the steel. It's not too bad to carry, and just has that Cold Steel "awesome" factor. I love mine.
I'm with you on that one, brother. I really believe AUS10 is an underrated steel. It may not be a super steel, but it holds an age pretty well, and it takes razor edge. On knives like the Voyagers and the CS 4Max Scout, it don't get no better than AUS10.
