I was once happy flicking my CQC7, my Cold Steel XL Voyager, my Pocket Hobbet etc, etc -- but I have now discovered Khukuris and I'm now waving huge heavy hunks of iron above my head as I'm reading these forums.

My Sirupati, SN1, WW2, Panawal, and Bhojpure are now by my side. I have fought many a war these last few weeks; many people were saved by my actions.

It is now getting late and bed time awaits me --with this comes the dreams of where I'm king and the greatest warrior the world has seen.

Until next time .....

wII,

I too own Khukuris and have the visions. You have started your mission on the west coast, mine has begun on the east. We will meet in the middle and share the treasures of our conquests. And the maidens, don't forget about the maidens

Yes, there is definitely something about a khukuri!

It's hard to beat 14.5 inches (in my case) of hand forged, high carbon, steel

Khukris are great. I have an authentic Gurka Khukri that is quite old, but it is smaller than most you see. I train with it a lot. I'm thinking about the Cold Steel Gurka Light Khukri, because it's endorsed by Dr. Gyi.

Lately for some reason I just have a thing for big heavy knives, I have been swingin' the Bowies and Machetes out in the yard more than usual. Mars must have moved into Scorpio.

Yes, I'm glad to see Khukuri fans here. These are incredible machines, you can feel the power that can be unleashed with them. Mine are sharp enough to shave with and actually give me the chills to think what would really happen if I ever used one to defend myself - these are VERY dangerious tools if used with fighting in mind.

Now back to work.

Legend has it that during the Faulkands (or Malvinas- to be fair) Islands conflict, the Argentines surrendered pretty quickly when warned that the Ghurkas were on the way- Fact or Fiction, I don't know. The idea of all of that steel coming at your neck...
