Trax, thanks for the link...

My 120BR just came in. I held it in awe for about five minutes.
The seller even sent a free knock off folder (bottom)...thought that was cool to do.

Never thought of a 120BR as an EDC...but I'm liking the idea. Perfect for those church social picnics where ya need to get a pickle outta the jar.

Here is the 120BR General with it's son, "Woody the Woodsman" 102BR, and a 110AG for scale.

Goose,
You sure are collecting some odd looking 110's... :D
Those top 2 look great also, but I am having a hard time finding the lock and pivot point ;) in your pics :D
Kinda like the 6 112's that you don't collect huh LOL
Very nice!!!!
That 120 is a beautiful knife!

Yep Jim...it's like those drug education movies from when I was a kid...
"It all started when he took his first puff...he found that it got easier and easier to try other things...and, now...he's an addict, dirt poor, and one step from living in the streets. All because of that first puff that grew to become a habit he cannot control".

I keep telling myself that I only collect 110's. Just as I tell myself that Jennifer Love Hewitt is too young for a man of my age to lust for. I am in denial of my carnal wants.

I'm so weak. So ashamed.

Dont worry Goose,
You get used to it. At least I did... :D
I used to try to collect certain models too, now I just collect Buck Knives :D
BTW, I dont think Jennifer is too young to lust for :D
At least you have priorities LOL

Isn't that interesting...Discontinued Buck model 120's...yours is '05; mine is '04...just when did they "discontinue" these??? Yesterday??? :grumpy:

I thought similar when I saw the Potato State outline on it today as well as the same on the Pro-Line.

How long have they been "discontinued"?

What I do know is, that thanks to you Trax, I didn't have to pay some goofy price on the auction site or wait until I could afford a goofy price.
Very sincerely appreciated...

I too prefer NS and am hoping to someday find a 112FG NS. Dave likes brass I'm guessing cause he prob misses shining all that jazz from his Navy days...I dunno..... I am easily amused.
Have a pic of a jackalope head from Wall Drug and a jackalope drinking a beer somewhere too.

see what i mean!!!! omg this an't right i dont care who you IS.

Yeah Dave...it started innocently enough. Had a few 110's laying around and was using google search to find info on them. Then I stumbled into this bar after finding out about BCCI on the Buck site (or vice versa...I don't recall officer...it all happened so fast).

Curiousity killed the wallet. Oh, well, in many ways this bar is cheaper than a few rounds of tequila, which I quit about the same time as coming here.

We are alike in many ways Dave...hooked on quality and tradition in one of man's oldest tools...along with a borderline sense of humor (or smart arsing...depends on your view).

I like the 120 and suprisingly the Pro-Line I recently aquired was the first one I ever even handled. Seen 'em sure in display before, but never handled one. I was a 110 fan.

I like the balance of the Pro-Line better than the BR...but the slightly heavier weight of the BR feels better. Hard to explain.

if i had need of a user 124 i would use the new le just because i hate that damn handle so much

...All I know about 'em is that they're BIG... (and the blades don't fold into the handle)

Better watch it Darryl....

There has recently been one convert to FIXED blades.... lol....

pack rat
if you look in the thread custom 124 there is some pics with a 124 compared to a 119 , the blade is shorter than a 120 but deeper/fuller and the handle is more of a mittful than the 119 , if you ever handled one i am sure you would love it except for last years le stag or the klink specials they used the same handle as the 119 (just not right)
