i only got one day at blade, so heres my pics - mostly knives:)

one of the satin jack variants, slightly shorter, with a recurve, and different finishes then the combat grade. i decided that the buffalo soldier was better suited for my needs, but still, very, very, very nice knives

Thanks for the pics! Must . . . .save . . . . money . . . .:D

yes Seth, thanks for the pics. I had planned to be there and had to cancel at the last minute. Wish I was there !!

Thanks for the pics.

More pictures of knives I don't have but want real bad. Jerry needs to start a Lay-Away plan so that I can continue to complete my collection. Somebody get some pics of Shaggi and Kassi modeling our favorite Busse bladeware. :D

Seth, thanks for the pics man!

Did you handle all of them? Which ones did you like the best?

YOWZA!! "prototype recurve" is now my new favorite, right behind the FSH and the FBM:D

Edited to add a "Yowza":D

Great pics Seth. Man this is bringing back memories from June. :D Only you guys have more toys to play with down there.

i had kinda been wanting to see pictures of the full line, close up full shots, but hadnt seen any, sooo, now you have at least 1 picture (albeit blurry or off color:( ) of each of the new line :)

they were on screw's, so you had to ask to handle them (probably a very, very good idea). i did hold the moab though :)

first thought, holy crap thats sharp...

and the forward serrations!!! its a set of about 10 guthooks/seatbelt cutters!

i had no clue that they would be that insanely sharp... and i understand much better why they make the knife a fighter, amongst other things.

of course, my favorites are the ones i have, or in the same spirit :)

when i learned that the new active duty was the same as the old active duty, instead of a minature sharper air rescue, i was rather saddened... but then i saw the buffalo soldier.

and let me be the first to say this on the boards - PICTURES LIE. i was positive that it was the same size and dimentions as the badger attack from the photo's, i was expecting it to be broad and big. but lo and behold, its much smaller then that, basically, the exact same size as the public defender, but fully flat ground, and with much, much, much less metal directly behind the edge.

since there are no small knives in the new line, outside of the assault shaker and the active duty (both of wich are keeping their old forms i beleive, i was kinda left waiting for the badger attack or the air rescue (im not buying another pub defender :) )... both of wich, let me tell you, are far from being "small". dont get me wrong, id love to have the air rescue, but im looking for something for pure mundanity around the house cutting tasks, preferably with a choke up configuration, since i use it while holding the blade most of the time = enter rat shaker and buffalo soldier :)

if i had to choose id go with the same type configuration i have pauls hatchet-tac, battle mistress fusion, and air rescue (the smallest thing there:D )

the new line is truly impressive though. the black recurve with serrations!! sooo pretty... it makes ya all giddy bein around that many nice knives :)

Thanks for the pics. You helped us see what we missed... our "white balance" would probably be off too...;) :D

Well being a newbie and wanting to learn as much as I could about knives, I took Friday afternoon off - and also went back on Saturday. Busse and Swamp Rat had the most impressive display of all production knife vendors. The list of new knives to be released in the coming months, some specs, and even prices was available. Some limited edition Busses were offered for sale. I picked a Natural Outlaw in desert beige - my first Busse, though I was told that my Buffalo Soldiers and Jaba should be arriving any day now.

Nice pics man! Thanks! I really like the Air Rescue and the Tanto Tac! Those are the 2 that are calling to me more than the others....
