i had kinda been wanting to see pictures of the full line, close up full shots, but hadnt seen any, sooo, now you have at least 1 picture (albeit blurry or off color

) of each of the new line
they were on screw's, so you had to ask to handle them (probably a very, very good idea). i did hold the moab though
first thought, holy crap thats sharp...
and the forward serrations!!! its a set of about 10 guthooks/seatbelt cutters!
i had no clue that they would be that insanely sharp... and i understand much better why they make the knife a fighter, amongst other things.
of course, my favorites are the ones i have, or in the same spirit
when i learned that the new active duty was the same as the old active duty, instead of a minature sharper air rescue, i was rather saddened... but then i saw the buffalo soldier.
and let me be the first to say this on the boards - PICTURES LIE. i was positive that it was the same size and dimentions as the badger attack from the photo's, i was expecting it to be broad and big. but lo and behold, its much smaller then that, basically, the exact same size as the public defender, but fully flat ground, and with much, much, much less metal directly behind the edge.
since there are no small knives in the new line, outside of the assault shaker and the active duty (both of wich are keeping their old forms i beleive, i was kinda left waiting for the badger attack or the air rescue (im not buying another pub defender

)... both of wich, let me tell you, are far from being "small". dont get me wrong, id love to have the air rescue, but im looking for something for pure mundanity around the house cutting tasks, preferably with a choke up configuration, since i use it while holding the blade most of the time = enter rat shaker and buffalo soldier
if i had to choose id go with the same type configuration i have pauls hatchet-tac, battle mistress fusion, and air rescue (the smallest thing there

)
the new line is truly impressive though. the black recurve with serrations!! sooo pretty... it makes ya all giddy bein around that many nice knives
