I Passed!!

Thanks guys :D

The steel is a 50/50 mix of 1084 and 15n20. About 360 layers of random pattern. I was really sweating it. I new it would pass the chopping and shaving but wasnt 100% sure about the bending. I thought it broke when I heard that dreaded ping! But only the hard edge cracked and stopped at the hamen line. The triple annealing paid off.

truely a fantastic accomplishment.
:D

though i think most of us knew that it was kind of a given.
 :p
but its good to see it on an official level now.

keep up the grand work.

D.

Congratulations Bruce.
I don't know if you folks are aware of this but Bruce is getting quita famous here in South Eastern WA.
Today I was within 50 miles of Walla Walla and was quite suprised to see his name on a section of the highway.

Congradulations Bruce: Judging from our conversation at the Eugene show I did not feel you would have any problem passing. Stick With It!

i'm a young waif who get's all these weird dreams and like an old man with a pet owl keeps following me little self. anyway, i suddenly have this hankering to be king in a few years time but knowing it's a straight sin to wish this, and you gentlemen being they kind to stay in good standing with the crown, you won't take this as an excuse. make me then a sword that can be tauted as one that go through a granite boulder, will never break in battle and can unite all of england.
