I payed for my usual Platinum membership a while ago and now discovered that I have no right to sell. Wrote a question as well and still awaiting for a responce.

You should be able to sell in the individual exchange forums. If you're trying to sell in the Knifemaker's Market, it's been restricted to Knifemaker members since the price increase some time back.
