I picked up the 300SN

I absolutely love the 300SN! It is thicker and heavier than knives I usually EDC, but it disappears in my pocket. I have gotten used to the flipper, and I love it too. Needless to say, opening it waits the Axis lock is a breeze too.

Man, I am so looking forward to getting one. As was prescribed above I decided to go with the 810 first, and it should be here in a few days. I did get the Southard yesterday so I'm reaaaaally looking forward to a comparo. I think the 300 will do very well...

I have come to love this knife.
It really works for me, ergos, fit finish, does fit in pocket very nicely.
Cheers

For this knife there should have been stronger omega springs . . .
or assisted opening . . . one or the other. On the example I tried, the detent was not strong enough to provide reliable opening without a wrist flick.

It's my first Benchmade and my first flipper. Oh yeah first axis lock. I love it. I'm not wild about the finger grooves but the blade shape is just right. Size is just right, if not just a little small. Could be thinner but it rides in a pocket surprisingly well. So I don't even really notice it being a little bulky.

Anyone thinking about thinning the scales which would make the finger grooves less noticiable?

I'll add a few!

From the BM picture thread.

Just got a used one today. I like it. I can not compare to my southard, they are different. The flipper action is different but does work. Great overall little knife.
