I picked up this ugly old mora the other day.....

I have to disagree with the OP, I think it is a rather beautiful knife actually. Needs to be cleaned up, rust removed, those scratched taken out and the edge redone perhaps, but it looks like a nice design and it looks like it's got someone's history in it for sure. I think it'll be a very nice knife when cleaned up. Basic looking, not flashy, but very nice. Have fun with that one :) And I like that sheath a lot too. Much nicer than the plastic ones they use now.

I hear what you are saying, please don't get me wrong, I too think its a cool older knife - and I am going to do all that what you say - and a little more, when I say "ugly" its ugly now because of the knife that it is-should be looking better, when I finish the project, I will post up the pics!
