This is a big a accomplishment. I think it would be permissible for you to share with us the details and even a link.

Rockywolf,

Sort of. It's a photo book, but not a book about my photography. It's about hummingbirds growing up on the nest.

mlehto,

The point is to share with friends. I've been on this forum for almost 12 years, made thousands of posts, and met many of of the people here in person.

Gollnick,

Thanks for the OK. I'll add edit it into the original post.

Thank you, Chuck!

I truly think this book is a unique view into their biology and behavior as they grow up.

I hope you enjoy it.

congrats on the book, I remember reding some facts about their metabolisms and calorie requirements etc pretty unique. Always neat to see them hovering and darting about.

Congrats, it can be an arduous process.

Wishing you more success!

Thank you, diced, kimsalls, Nordic Viking, and AKC.

AKC,

I'm trying for more success. i've already finished writing and illustrating my second book, and I'm nearly done writing and illustrating my third - but they're both still a long way from being published.

That book is going to make an excellent Christmas gift for someone on my list. They may get it slightly used;)

Congrats! Growing up, we had a hummingbird feeder right outside the breakfast table window of our house and I always enjoyed just sitting and watching them.

Thanks, Tommythewho and JAB.

JAB, I've never had a hummingbird feeder, but I've enjoyed seeing them in the wild.

You all might enjoy some of my pictures in the book.
