I'm not referring to how it is now. I'm referring to the actual software that runs this site having the ability to accept direct uploads if turned on and all the settings are correct. my guess is that due to the volume on this site the site administrator has that turned off or there is some settings misconfigured or is behind on updates.

it "should" be as simple as clicking on the upload picture icon and it will have a choice of link or upload from device. when uploading from device the site can be configured to auto resize the photo so as to not fill up the servers so quickly. whatever the issue they seem to be unwilling or unsure on how to correctly configure it. I'm sure it's much easier to set up the site for all users to be able to upload, then to have it filter only paid users. but whatever the issue it's definitely on the site admin

I for one am running out of space in my online photo storage and over the years have lost track of which photos are linked. I may just have to start deleting a bunch of stuff I no longer need and if it breaks the links then so be it. having photos linked all over the web is a sure way to invite problems down the road for older threads

I had issues with pics at the outset. The quickest, easiest solution is to center the knife for your photo (I use my cell phone), then move your phone away from the knife itself while still keeping it centered. I usually take the photo (without zooming in) from 2.5+ feet directly above. Then go to photos and edit by cropping/bringing the borders in. This enlarges the knife in the photo, and the BF system accepts it, presumably because there is less data involved ? Resolution/clarity is serviceable. I haven't had any issues posting pics using this method for a couple of years now.

Android. I believe I just figured it out made my first post. It took a bit of playing around but I found the perfect photo size that would allow me to upload on my photos.

The app I use is called "photo & picture resizing app" I use a Samsung phone and size down (using the app) to 995kb on all photos.

I admit I had troubles too. I had really low rez pictures until I figured out how to size them this way.

Of you do what spindrift said and crop until it's under 1mb that should work, it's what I do
