I can agree the 25 is never as easy to open as a well used 21 but it adds heft and feels more solid not like the 21 isn't solid...

Just got mine today and while I like everything about this knife so far , I seem to have a problem here - I can't pull the blade out single handed with my thumb, really stiff lockup on that thing. Is there a way to soften it up? Thanks.

You might try to back off the pivot a tiny amount or a micro dot of Nano oil on the detent path. It will smooth out though:thumbup:
