You will need to give me the model number for that slippy. I don't have them 700's in memory by sight.

Here is some info you BCCI guys have (June 06 news letter). The old custom shop did a few folders not many but a few and yes there were some in Damacus.

Boy if I could have a damascus 701 (the large stockman) I would be very happy. :)
 
Thats the 704 Maverick, the only one of the series w/o a equine name . Came out in 1983, Buck started using that shield (the block style) in late 1984 or 1985 so it must be atleast of that era . I've not seen one in Damascus, its striking . The custom shop was still in operation then . Thanks for posting . DM

I assume Buck would say that Maverick can be considered an equine name, since some folks call an unbranded horse a maverick even though it may be a less than common usage.
 
And it just sold for $92. I did bid $85 but was out trail cleaning for the snow shoe trails and could last minute the bid...Oh well :(

Did anyone get it???
