What order would you arrange them? I realize they may be different for different knives you own.

For my keychain Victorinox classic, it is 1) tool, and not much else.
For my Buck 309, 1) tool, 2) artwork

If you can think of other words that fit your view best, please use them. We all think knives are "cool," but why?

Artwork - The beauty is striking, yet simple
Plaything - Sure is fun to play with
Collectible - They are collectible...but I can't stop using them!

Yep totally agree. I wanted to put tool first but who am I kidding. I have too many expensive knives for them to all be tools and they end up getting played with more than they're actually used to work. I have a couple of knives that I carry all the time at work and a couple grand in knives that are carried just for fun the rest of the time. They are mostly realllly fun toys for me.

It depends on the occasion. If I'm running to the atm at 2am I'll wear a spyderco. If Im going hunting I'll take a green river butcher. If I'm going to work I'll take a case pocket knife just to admire and brighten my day.
