I unfortunately killed this purchase a couple of weeks ago with a cpm-3v Master Hunter I got for 60.00 ,20 less than the garberg. Maybe a used one will pop up for less.Anyone here getting one?

I have seen them cropping up. They look decent, but honestly, I have so many fixed blades that can do what this one does, to include multiple Moras of other flavors. So, it's probably a pass for me.

Mora is in the unfortunate position of being known as a company that makes knives at a low price point. I don't think the Garberg is overpriced, but their customer base (myself included) is probably just not going to see the value in this one. It looks like a fine knife though, and should I find one on the second hand market someday, I will most likely grab it.

Mine's here and it's awesome!!!!

I received mine last week and am happy with the purchase now. Initially, the knife had two dings in the blade. I hit the stones and was pleased at how easy I could get this Mora scary sharp. Soon after, I was in the back yard playing around with it. The Garberg kept that just sharpened, crisp edge longer than my Mora Bushcraft and was still shaving sharp after my session. I do have mixed feeling with the sheath but it's serviceable.

Great to hear that!!! Did you get the leather sheath or the Molle compatible one?

I went with the Molle compatible plastic sheath. The quality of the sheath is fine but I wish the belt loop attachment was more robust. On a side note, I am very picky when it comes to the ergonomics of a knife, get hand fatigue quickly. The Garberg is a great knife in hand.

Well, if you decide to pick up a leather one later, it's made with heavy (3mm) leather and is really well made.

Thanks for the info on the leather sheath SAK Guy.

You're welcome and thank you for the user review and the concerns on the Molle sheath....I was thinking about picking up that sheath later but will wait for more reviews now!

Nice knife. Not a fan of the handle the spine side needs to have both the blade end and tail end flares filed off. And I find the handle a little to round. Just feels awkward. I like the shape of the F1 and the light my fire Mora shaped handles much better.
