I sincerely hope that I'm done buying fixed blades

Nice knives; a bit too large for me to use at OUTBACK...
I generally use 3-4" fixed, customs with nice wood or special blade-steel such as 3V.

Just like the natural patina you were going to let the develop before the gun blue sacrifice to the knifehaterz gods... might have to steal that quote for my sig

Do it! :D

As long as you don't take a shaky engraving tool to it.......

The TGLB is out for a deeper hollow regrind at REK.

That's interesting: On a 4.25" Al Mar SERE folder he was reluctant to turn a flat grind into a hollow grind. I guess he has to have a slight hollow to guide him... He did an absolutely beautiful, perfectly symmetrical zero edge on it instead...

0.070" on the Gemini! Yikes...

In the days before I knew about REK, there were many knives I would not even try to buy: He really opened up the possibilities. For instance, I had never succeeded in making daggers both sharp and symmetrical: Except for the zero-edged Gerber Guardian, which is fine from the box, without REK it was not even worth it to buy an Al Mar dagger, or any kind of dagger for that matter...

Unfortunately, I mostly only care about hollow handles of 1/4" stock, with blades 10" and over: Even with a few daggers thrown in, my collection will hardly reach ten knives anyway...: I don't have to psyche myself up that this is the last one: I've pretty much run out of what's out there...

That's a beautiful blade. Personally, I hope you aren't done buying fixed blades. You always post pictures of the most interesting things...

The TGLB is possibly the ultimate combat knife. This Brend is the ultimate fighting knife... This is my opinion.

Good points and I agree. I don't agree that you are done buying knives, lol....Ain't no way if you stay on this forum that you will stop.

well...like you, I use my knives and like to tweak on them but that thing...I'd probably just put on the mantle and stare at it.

It's not gonna be leaving my hip for a while... It carries very light.
