I've got something on the way (courtesy of Steelnut!) that should lead me down the right path. Prolly being man-handled by Canada Customs as we speak!

As a noob, you are likely not aware that there is some good-natured ( or NOT) antipathy toward the other brands in the Busse group and their owners. So if you own a Swamp Rat knife, the you are a RAT, and historically only got the scraps from the trough.

I actually bought a Scrap Yard Dumpster Mutt LE off Steelnut.

Same idea tho right?

Ah, in any case, I don't have the Mutt yet...still in the mail!

(and that's not what I was referring to when I said my current knives are terrible!)

I'm actually REALLY looking forward to recieving it, it'll be my first premium knife! And most likely, it'll act as a "gateway drug" for much bigger things!

Why do different knives get released between the two Busse sites?

Is it reasonable to still expect something to show up on BCS soon?

If you mean something NEW, probably not. We just had the Scofas, those are new to the Busse Company Store. Unless Skunk starts dropping some more hints, the action will be on the main Busse site. That's where new models are released for the first time. You place your order and wait. Eventually they take that model off the site, close the order books and start making the knives. Then Jerry puts up another model, that's what we are waiting for now.

AFTER all the orders of a given model have been shipped to buyers, THEN skunk orders inventory for his store site.
 
Ah, well it's all new to me!

So skunk probably won't be getting those rumored FBM on his store in the forseeable future then, right?

Actually, yes.

It's sort of an accident -- Skunk's had a large order in (on our behalf) for quite some time. When it arrives, he can't exactly afford to have it sitting around forever.

Meanwhile -- it looks like "ASH1 Time" finally came around.

ASH1 first -- BCS special order next.

The wonderful world of INFI!!
