Would someone be willing to explain the band breaker use to me?

Just as it sounds, designed for breaking tough bands.... metal, plastic, etc... without slipping off them as they often require quite a bit of force to cut through.

Notice how Jerry only posted one pic, no specs, etc?

I'm very happy also, this is one that does nothing for me personally as I find the Fusion handle to be a bit too much for me personally. Nano Fusion with 3/16" stock would have been much harder to pass up for me anyways.

That's a nice looking knife! The lower half of the blade leading down to the edge, is it hollow or flat ground?

It appears to be hollow at the portion between the choil and belly, flat ground at the tanto portion. How can i tell? The curve at the junction between the two grinds, it would be a straight line if both grinds were flat ground.
