I stonewashed the handles on my Large Sebenza...

You are spoiled! Must be nice to have that equipment! :)And experience! This was a big deal for me since it was my first time. Now that I've been through it I feel confident I can reproduce it again and again. I've saved all the stones and the bottle for future washes...

Nice job Spydiesteve!!!! Looks absolutely awesome!!! There's something special too about having really made it your own in such a way... More than just a custom lanyard! And now it's really scratch proof!

Looks good...although I guess I'm a little bit spoiled, so I don't understand all of the fuss about the appearance. If I don't like the look of any of my CRKs then I just throw them in the blasting tank and start over. (or into the vibratory bowl and stonewash or tumble with walnut shell):p

Same here.... I use ceramic stones though and glass beads for the reblast.

I think it looks really good!!

They came out great.

Does the stone wash feel softer? I've got a stone washed Les George and the texture makes it feel softer to me.
I'm going to collect a bunch of small unifrm rocks next time I'm at the lake.

Thanks for having the courage to go first.

I really like your ingenuity with your own stone washing machine :). I like the stonewashed handles. They probably won't show scratches like the factory finish does. I think stone wash is my favorite finish on knives.
