I did it. No wukkers at all!

I took one of my ASHes (a Sage & TAN) and stripped the coating.

I'll go into the shop tomorrow and bead blast this beast and it should come up like a DC!

The bare metal is flawless! I also bit my tongue and left the scales on (I WAS worried), but no harm done what so ever.

Here's a progress shot. The ASH is the grail of modern INFI for me. The best thing that Jerry and the gang has offered, period!

Very Cool Gundy! I thought the SFNO was my Grail blade, but the ASH is what I truly came for, even though I denounced the design at first. Thanks for showin' her naked, now let's see if I'll have a reason to go get a bead blaster again!

BTW, is that a JRE sheath for the ASH?!?

Very Nice, be sure to show us what she looks like when you've given her the bead blast
:D:D

...here ya go boss... :)

It came up sweet! I love it - virtually flawless. The under finish is superb. The sage was bloody tough however! Now to give it a right flogging on our weeks trip on June 6th....photos a plenty!

That looks fantastic. Make sure we get plenty of user pics asap.. I wish the finish on my skinny ASH had been that good.
