I competed in logger sports and I can tell you that they/we played hard and partied hard!

Obviously no point in me getting into debating the meaning of words here, such as "young" versus "mature"... but I was thinking that I had stumbled across a forum where a bunch of 12 year olds who like axes decided to take the opportunity to start posting photos of half naked girls with chainsaws on an "Axe, Tomahawk, & Hatchet Forum". Sheesh. :P

She also enjoys chainsaw, axes and such.
After all... We have been off grid @ 5200' in the mountains of Montana for 8 years now.

bear, I have nothing but respect for women who use axes, nor do I have anything against a woman running a chainsaw. It was the suggestive remarks and photos that makes me roll my eyes and brings to mind the word "immature".

Sorry, but its been that way since the beginning of time whether it be a beautiful women with a basket of berries, a basket of jerky, pemmican, a axe or saw, or simply a smile... it will continue to be the same... Otherwise we would become extinct :)

I mean NO disrespect, but the simple fact is that a nice looking gal with a saw and or axe is HOT and I'm not going to apologize for that!

I just wanna tell you my opinion about this whole "immature"-stuff.

We're all (more or less) adult, right? So why shouldn't we have at least a bit fun? What's even worse than acting immature?In my eyes, it's acting overmature. We had a guy in our vocational school, he always came into class in suit, acting like a total idiot trying to be adult. One time, another guy in my class was staring into his coffe for about 5 minutes and my teacher asked why he was doing it. I said, it's because he is looking for the latte (german word for boner) in his latte macchiato. The whole class (even our 45 years old teacher) laughed, everyone except one guy, not the one staring into his coffee, it was the guy in his suit. His last words to me were "you're an immature piece of sh*t" - I areed with him :rolleyes: Since then, he never spoke to me again - who cares? I mean, didn't you went into an ice cream parlor, just ordering a kids bowl just because it is so colourful? Or had fun on a lonely standing swing? Even as grown man/woman? I'm only 20, still laughing about co*k jokes - like my 20 to 60 years old coworkers. Do we offend somebody when we talk about good looking women? I don't think so - even bearhunters woman had the "balls" to say that these girls are hot, I don't see any problem there. Sorry for the long post, just wanted to tell you what I'm thinking ;)

Sure, people can do whatever they want. I was just saying that more woods-euphemisms would be fitting. "i'd like to chop her tree down" would be one. Not that there isn't any exasperation in my words-- you can be just as attracted to pretty capable women without giving feminists a reason to exist. Wouldn't that be nice, all things considered?

I'll laugh at a dick joke, sure. I'm not going to be the guy in the suit. I'm the guy in the patched up clothes with a stogie going. But you don't have to be a prick to be a gentleman, and if you want to act like a gentleman just to get women to sleep with you, I'd venture to say you aren't a gentleman at all. Shirk, you're example of mr. suit seemed like a good example of the latter. He should try socially isolating himself for 5 years, then maybe he wouldn't have such a hubris view of himself amongst other people, and maybe value other people more as they are.

So carry on, and excuse my cynical party pooping suggestion/joke =)

Feminism dont need a reason to exist. It wont go away by men affording privileges to women they wouldnt give any other human being.

Cultural feminism is one thing. The kind of feminism that inadvertently kills women and while ruining the lives of men. Nobody benefits from that, except maybe someone who wants the scourge and disease of modern culture in general to run it's course as quickly as possible.

I am not really sure what defines "cultural feminism" or what other kinds there are that would fall outside of that definition.
