It will be two years in February since my CC was charged for a silex. It'll be one year in November since he said the blades would start shipping.

He does respond to my inquiries, but seems to be doing nothing about it.

I really hate how unprofessional it is of ME to come on here and ask this...

But - did I get ripped off.

It would seem so. I have never dealt with that person, but from your records it seems like you have been ripped off. I would file a dispute with your CC.

What doesn't make sense is that I purchased a folder from him not 3 or 4 months prior to ordering the silex. I received that blade as expected, and liked it so much I ordered again.

It seemed totally legit.
 
That sucks. I let the mods know this should probably be in The Good, Bad and Ugly section where more people may be able to give info.


Thanks - I didn't know where best to post it. I really hate bringing it out like this but I'm at a loss of what to do.
 
Definitely post this in the Good Bad and Ugly and I would also dispute with me CC company.

This guy may be legit and over committed but there is simply no reason not to refund your money in a timely fashion since he hasn't been able, or willing, to meet his obligations.
 
Look don't feel bad. No legit maker acts like that. It takes less than 30 seconds to issue a refund.
 
Seems this guy disappeared more than a year ago from IG, couple people posting asking where there knives are.
 
This guy is a "maker" and is full of:poop:. What sucks to go a long with customers being screwed is that a bad experiance with this guy could make people shy away from legit makers.
Only buy their knives at big online retailers or brick and mortar's. Its not right that legit makers could possibly be hurt by this tool.
Just bad for the community :mad:
 
Edit: I contacted the OP, and also Cody via FB.

Beings this was a CC transaction and not a PP transaction, this will take a few days for the electronic payment to credit back the OP's account. Cody stated that he's tried calling the OP.

Hopefully, this will be resolved between the 2 parties in the very near future (as soon as the CC funds clear).
