Buy some black leather chuck taylors, it's only shoes you'll ever need.

I like converse shoes as well. They are comfortable and have their place. I checked out the all leather ones and they do look cool. I think I may pick up a pair later. I don't think I have the same taste in shoes as the OP. But I have been looking at the new sketchers with the weird shape that promise a workout while your walking And I tried to get Heelys in mens sizes. They looked at me like I was weird. Well, I was dressed as a pirate at the time....well I was on my way to a theme park and......you know what never mind
