i think i need some major HELP

"...How do u guys stop your self from buying so much...."
- rmmatt153

before any purchase, just get out there and try and see if you can get anyone interested enough to buy the very knife you so desperately want.
if more than half of whom you approach, bites your sales pitch,
it's time to see if you can get a bulk discount and save yourself a bundle.
no takers?
becomes an important lesson that one can't be buying things that don't generally interest the great majority of folks.
it's plainly is just too great a risk to think of any such highly coverted object, as a great find with a future resale potential.

I made a promise to buy smart this year, and as a result have only purchased 3 knives this year (vs 9 in a month at my high last year)... I do not feel the slightest bit bad however, and the 3 that I've purchases (Damascus shallot, tracked down a NIB Volt, schawing, and a 0551 that should be here today) aside from that, I'll put down for a Fluted Ti Millie and that should conclude my year unless I get a wild hair and pick up the Umnumzaan that's been calling me for many months... Not that the Boa's, or Blur, Leek or any of the others I picked up in my binging are bad by any stretch, I just made a decision to spend more on fewer pieces.

I use a "24 hour rule" ... if I see a knife and want to buy it , I wait 24 hours. If I remember the knife and the desire to buy it 24 hours later, I usually do.

I thought I was done with knives for sure, but a week later I'm back on here looking. I've given up cigarettes longer than I've held off buying knives. And you know what they say about giving up cigs.

I tore my CC a new one this month damn... :(
Busse Boss Jack
Scrapyard Regulator
Spyderco Manix2 CPM-M4 (2)
Spyderco Large Persian2
Kershaw Rake
Kershaw Skyline Damascus
ESEE HEST FB

I'm about to die the death of 1,000 cuts by the hand of my wife with all my knives....

Whatever you do Dont buy a tiantinum frame lock. After the first you'll be on a Huge slippery slope. CRK, Strider, Zt, Bradley, Kershaw, and Many more....customs..there is

No End. Remember dont buy a ti frame lock. They have cost many members, myself included, Way Too Much Money. Addiction that costs much more than other knives.

DON'T buy a Sebenza. After your first, you'll start looking at the smaller Sebenza and you'll have it purchased in a flash. After that ridiculous unaffordable purchase, you'll start getting a REALLY bad feeling of needing another Sebenza for no damn reason. It's like an iPad. You have absolutely no use for it but really wouldn't mind killing for one. :)

HEY everyone I think I need to go to KA meetings (knifeaholics anonymous)!!!! I can't stop buying knives! Do u know if there is such meetings

There are numerous small meetings, usually monthly. Many larger meetings on a less frequent schedule.

One of the largest meeting will be held June 10-12, 2011 in Atlanta.

They don't have quite the same purpose as AA meetings.
Unlike AA, these meetings are not designed to help you stop, but rather to help you fulfill your needs and quit worrying about it. :D
