Well, I was going through some of my knives the other day and found out that I had a lot more 560s and 186s than I new... I know I have a few more some where... There are two prototype or salesman samples... And there is one that has unspun rivets, There is one Black one that was used for testing, you can tell by looking at the blade and so on... I love the one with the purple handles and purple Blade and the one with the Blue holes in the handles ... They are both next to each other... The Blue hole one is on top of the Purple one... The unspun one is on top of the blue hole one... ...

Thanks for looking...

560s and 186s...

:) :)

Very cool Armand, you do have a pack of 560/186's there. I also noticed that the last three gray 560's have been re-bladed (The 560 was made 1989 thru 1992) and they have 2003 blades? What is the story on them?

I "belive" but could be wrong..
in 2003 buck was selling the "last" of them in the
company store for 35$ useing up handle stock
that is why the 2003 blades
it was after that batch was gone that the prices started rising
not much diff then now
they find it they sell it..
nothing goes to waste

I had the feeling that I captured the thread with my posting.

Well - there is no difference between the Titaniums bought in the States or in Europe. They only have a different paperwork. And the one with the lanyard loop was customized by a German knife maker.

Under these circumstances I put the pic' back into the thread.

ITE, thanks for asking.

Haebbie

Anyone else have any 560s or 186s to share with us all??? :D ... ITE

I have a few, including the original concept knife built by Mickey Finn, one of the first 50 that were hand made by Phrobis and marked with the dolphin logo and a custom one assembled by Mickey while visiting the Marto plant in Spain. I have two or three of the standard ones; I buy them whenever I run across them at a bargain price.

I don't have time to post pictures tonight, but they can be viewed at http://www.quarterbore.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25
