I think I'm Collecting 560s and 186s...

Thanks Haebbie, that just too coool... ... I can't read but I like it... I want that paperwork... If you ever get any extra papers... Let me know...
Do you have any paperwork for the 186????

Thanks again for posting them...
ITE

You're welcome!

Yes, I have the paperwork for the 186. But the dis/re assemble manual is only a copy that I don't think that it is original.

What I have is the box, and the other accessories.

Best,
Haebbie

Is the box like ares in the US???

Yes, the Buck boxes are the same like in the U.S. The Knives are mostly sold
by Herbertz. And they put a sticker (like a small price sticker) on the box
with "Herbertz" on it. If you like I can take a picture.

Haebbie, sure I like to see what's out there... Is your protective sleeve for the 186 blade Clear plastic or milky white???

Thanks,
ITE

Wow, they are great! I can't see them often enough. Please put some pic' into this thread to complete all the unusual 186 & 560.

This is the original concept knife for the 186 titanium folder, modified by hand by Mickey Finn. He used a standard Bucklite 426 folder and added the clip and thumb stud. Mickey and his staff carried and used the knife for about a month to check out its functionality and practicality. Everyone seemed to like it and no significant changes were made to the conceptual design.

Phrobis had a source for powdered titanium and hired an outside vendor to sinter the scales for the new knife. They assembled 50 of these knives. I've seen them with Buck 110 blades and with blades simply marked with the Phrobis dolphin logo.

When Mickey Finn first presented this design to Buck it included the thumb stud. Buck, for whatever reason, did not want the stud included on the knife.

This is a titanium folder that Mickey Finn assembled at the Marto plant in Spain while he was there visiting. The knife has a custom pouch that is very similar to the magazine pouch that was part of Phrobis' experimental XM9 wire cutter scabbard.
