I went looking for my sharpmaker today so that I could resharpen a boning knife. Tore apart my storage area and then my apartment, finally to have the sinking realization that it must have gotten lost in the move.

It is too late to go back to search for it. The old apartment was cleaned by a cleaning crew and has already been moved into. It's gone. :(

And I had a full set with diamond rods and ultra fines as well. Darn it!
 
I can sympathize with you a little,I lost my William Henry GenTac auto,it fell out of my pocket while bike riding last year and this is the first I have been able to talk about it.

I really need a new EDC knife, but now its going to have to wait until I replace the sharpmaker. :(
 
My wife knocked mine on the floor and one of the brown rods chipped :( still works fine but I sniffle a little everytime I use it. Course I shouldn't left it on the counter instead of putting back in the drawer
