+1 to that. Whenever I see a high end machete I picture it bouncing off a rock like all my other machetes and wonder if I would sit down and cry right there or walk off into the bush a ways to sit down and cry. I have yet to shed a tear for a Tramontina or Ontario, nothing a file won't fix.
I have no doubt that the machete pictured here will cut circles around a stock Tramontina or Ontario. Recently I was clearing a vacant lot with some off brand 20 inch machete. Moving through tall grass I suddenly struck a 1/2 inch rebar standing straight up about a meter. Kaa-LANG! It bashed a nice half moon into the blade. I didn't cry. Mac
