I "think" they new Yahoo store is online. Take a look....

I just had a look at the new store. I think it is very well done. The navigation is much better.

The only thing I can think to add (if possible) are links back to the following:

www.himalayan-imports.com

www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=739

This should help newbies (like myself) reference information across the various sites when pondering their first purchase.

Only thing I could think of would be bigger pics like ddean
mentioned and maybe pics of both the horn & wood handled khuks
where there is the option...

I like the navigation and rate the pages load.

Re: pics

Bill is going to get some better pics and send them to me. I will post them one by one. If you notice, I did make the initial thumbnails larger than the Andale site (I do remember the suggestion being made long ago when I redid that store), but I didn't want to make them too big - causing download times to skyrocket.

What do you all think? Should I go ahead and make them bigger? It's an easy thing for me to do. Just change one setting. Let me know.


My favorite part of this store (Yahoo vs. Andale) is that I have a lot more control over how it looks - which is precisely why it looks similar to the HI website...


Now they can be one-and-the-same instead of 2 separate entities.

Ok...time to shut-up...

instead of photos on the home-page along with the style names,
how about using your line-art of the various styles.
Should load a lot faster than a photo.
