I thought I had heard it all...

All that I can say is "Thank goodness he doesn't have to go through customs" Explaining what the heck he has in his suitcase would take a long time.

Just keeping this at the top.:)

I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing this knife........

Hey George, this post has got me thinking...You just might have the basis there of the ULTIMATE MEGA FOLDER! You ought be able to fit that blade in a 21 or 22 inch handle and then we could get Normark to make a quick release break away Kydex sheath with thigh straps a belt keeper loop just in case. If nothing else it will be California legal!

Howard Wallace, I know a guy who was there when they detonated that whale. He says the car they had parked on the beach approach looked like somebody beat it up with a baseball bat and left it for dead. Said getting the gore and stink off the rig took weeks!

Where are you in Western WA? Anywhere near me?

The photos are finally back. They are posted on the newsletter page of my site with a litte explanation. Just follow the link below my signature.

There is no news yet from the coast but I guess that it will take a few days to finish off a job of this size.

George, one of the perks of your paid membership here is you can post pix by uploading them directly to Bladeforums. Look under the window where you type in your post to where it says:

Attach file:
Maximum size: 102400 bytes

Next to that there's a "browse" button -- click that to browse your system for the pic you want to post.

George,

Why is the blade so deep?

Just curious...;)

Dan

Heck that's a really big knife.
BTW the exploding whale was damn funny ;)

I have been thinking about adding it to the product line but Carol thinks that demand would be fairly low.

Dan the blade width is to help keep the blade straight during slicing, we felt that a narrow blade would wander. The back edge is sharpened as well to chop with and not damage the primary cutting edge.
