Buck 110 is probably one of the most used "Bushcraft" outdoors folding knives in the last century Most people don't commonly baton with it though and are careful with the tip. As far as that goes, SAK and popular slipjoints are often used in bushcrafting but aren't often batoned with.
Still most people used fixed blades which has been suggested numerous times. I carried an esee 3 on a construction job for a long time. It was handy but never completly replaced my razor utility knife.

None of those together cost $1K though. Send it back, but an EDC blade, a more utilitarian folder, and aquality-reputable fixed blade and maybe a patch knife and you'll be set, even with custom sheath you'll sit at half where youre at.

You're completely inconsistent discourse makes a discussion impossible. Hard use. Bushcraft. Then construction.

You were told this is not the right tool. As it turns out, it's not the right tool for anything. From your video, it looks like you are lucky to have your fingers.

If you can't handle advice, don't ask for it.

Craytab,
If you can't stop giving bad advice and trolling people, stop posting. Just be decent to people. You literally wait for someone to show a weakness then attack. You're a hyena of an insignificant knife forum. Just stop.

OP, you learned a hard lesson. Expensive knives are often worth less than cheaper knives. You have now seen for yourself that "hard use" or "zero tolerance" hardly means that. Good is good, bad is bad.

Bad advice and trolling: where?

My man, I said I wanted a robust folder specifically this one bc I really liked the ergos and aesthetic. Secondly, I said "should the need arise could it withstand hard use such as bushcrafting" again you didnt read clearly what I asked nor my intentions with the knife. I stated again, and again, and again, that i wasnt planning on using it for bushcrafting but if it COULD OCCASIONALLY perform in hard use. i asked "In a survival situation COULD it perform" i never said "Hey im going camping and this is the knife I want to use"

You continue to derive what you want from my statements and questions and that fact alone lead me to already not take your advise. because why would I take the answer of someone who doesnt understand the initial question?

Ain't nothin' "robust" or "aggressive use" about a chode knife.
