Hi there everyone.
Well at last!!! a free day to take some photo's of some great knives, I have been waiting for a chance to this for a while and if you are anything like me - you kinda like looking at knives, so here are some..

Charlie...

Fantastic fellow who's passion has re-awoken some absolute fantastic styles from the Traditional past, Charlie thank you, and thank you to my friends who have either gifted or sold me these great knives, I think that they are astounding knives, incredible value for money - Custom Quality for sure.

Heres a shot with them together on Wood, the following shot is with some extra Barlow additions, including the "Ole Buck" and "Young Buck" set by Western....

Heres the Buck set by themselves..kinda cool I reckon...

Here is what I mean about Custom Quality - I am getting braver - using it very carefully now and then....this knife is simply SUPERB in every way....

FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!!

I cannot describe just how amazing this knife is, it has been a very welcomed addition to my HJ collection, waiting on another HJ in the post - my/our good friend Paul blew me away - I am about to receive the 3rd edition to Charlies'66 Frame series Red Bone because of him - Thank you Paul...but here is this lovely HJ that looks as though its aflame at times in certain lights...

Some HJ'S..

Thanks to Paul...just check out this lovely old Cutlers knife... the Blue Collars worker - still in original box with original papers-lovely Carbon Blades - a super cool package..
OLD CUTLER..

CASE RED BONE...
I have bought these off a few members here, Charlies Beautiful '64 Red Bone Barlow, Paul, and Brad as well - Brad is a fantastic encyclopaedia on Case knives, and he has some stunning examples - thank you Brad, and my other mates here for these knives....
RED BONE is along - side Peach Seed , the two top outstanding scales that could ever be used on a knife...

Not Pure Red Bone - and these photos do this knife NO justice, the Brown Bone is so close to Red it's not funny....here is my latest edition to my Case lot, an MINT CASE XX ..

Now as we know when Charlie brings out his SFO'S we stop in our tracks - I did when I saw this knife in person...
GEC can make a knife like this for the little money you pay????
It must make the custom knife-makers life hell to try and justify prices when a Cutler company can produce Custom Quality like this...this knife is as close to perfect as you can get - it honestly is, also what is a massive part of the knife is the literature that goes with it - the Labels are fantastic Charlie - and important - thank you for the personal touch that came with my knife..

WOW...... 1 of 4..

Another great Barlow...'94 Cripple Creek ( Queen made)

Wonderful pictures, Duncan. We all love knives, or we wouldn't be here. But, I can't name another here who posts with so much sheer enthusiasm and joy.

Thanks for the post.

Frank put it better than I could, I smile every time I read every time I read one of your posts Duncan! I also see you're trying to corner the market on TC barlows, certainly explains why I haven't gotten my hands on one yet! Beautiful collection of barlows you have there, and nice pictures as well. :)

My, My Duncan! No wonder you have been itchin to take some photos!! That is quite a line up you've got there. Great bunch of Red bone, a gaggle of HJ's and another 1 of just a couple from our Canadian spiritual leader! I wondered just where the last Antique 2 blade Diamond Jack would surface... half way around the world!!
I must say, Life is good on your corner of the planet!
Enjoy, Dave

A fine collection - nicely presented!
I, too, am beginning to believe that no-one loves pocketknives more than you Duncan!!
And you have some Pocket Jewelry at its finest!!

Thanks for sharing these pictures Duncan. I was beginning to think that you broke your camera or something. It's been a while since we've seen your wood and metal creations.

I knew that you had a bad case of HJ fever, but I didn't realize that your barlow-itis was so far along. You've got it bad. ;)

Nice bunch.

Duncan, you do a heart good, my friend!!! Fantastic collection...one could get quite worked up in the presence of all that beauty:)

Duncan, I must admire your spirit and dedication to strive for and achieve the collection you have. We sometimes take for granted the extra cost and struggle you go thru to collect our great pocket jewelry. Customs, reluctance of USA sellers to sell outside the USA, and extra expense would deter only the most dedicated collector. You are to be commended for your dedication and time and capital to acquire these great knives in your collection. My hat is off to you. Fantastic knives you have there.

Applause! Your enthusiasm is infectious.
Im left wondering how many of your Barlows still have a blade etch, and I would not mind at all if you posted a few more pics.. you might even be able to build a chronological record of the various etches, Toms Real Ram Days, etchettera...

That Ebony pen behind is a real beauty too! All fully well earned and deserved.
thanks for sharing

Beautiful photos, Duncan, and the S&M tortoise is maybe the best example I've ever seen. 1 of 2 . . . WOW!

But, well deserved!

Thank you everyone for your comments, I am awe of everyone of your knives as well - its a shared interest that's for sure.

I am pretty much like everyone else, and I just cant explain what it does when I see such great knives - its a strange but alluring beauty that keeps drawing you in.

Im off to the flicks with my lovely wife and my daughter whos having a break from stitching people back together for a night!!!
