...The liner used to look shallow and unstable, but I've noticed that, after some regular use, the liner actually crawls deeper into the body when I open it. Now when I open it, it sits directly under the blade and the lock is tighter than...er, I can't think of a non-sexual metaphor but you get the idea...
I used to use, "Tighter than a cow's arse in fly season", but each to their own.

Yes, all of my Emerson liner locks have seated in to exactly where I like them. I can understand that people have different tastes and expectations, which is fair enough. However, to paint with a wide brush, I have come to realize that there are two types of people where EKI knives are concerned, those that 'get it' and those who don't. I can give you dozens of reasons why Emersons draw me like a Siren's call, but I have yet to see a down side to ownership.
