I turn to you. 5.0 vs 4.1 which one to keep?

I seen them on the exchange if I had anything more then pocket lint to give I'd have bought them both and sold em back when grey was ready for them. (With some slight usage of course)

Thanks guys, your support is pretty amazing. I will head over to the survivor page to see if I can get me a number.

Texas, the person who bought them did offer that if I wanted to buy them back later to just contact him. Again, there's a reason I love this community.

That's awesome bro good to hear.

I've made this choice in real life and I went with the GSO 4.1.

For what I use a camp knife for, the 4.1 works just as well as the 5.0 and it's a bit more compact.
Both are fantastic knives, but the 4.1 wins by a nose in my opinion.

After handling both I agree with you. I bought the 4.1 on a whim when they were clearing them out, the price was too good and I figure I'd give it a shot. It is a stout little blade that takes everything you throw at it and cuts very, very, well. I've always thought that a 5" blade without a choil was just about right for me, especially after owning the 5.1 briefly, but I find myself drawn more and more to sub 5" blades despite how much the bigger knives appeal to me. Big knives are fun, especially the choppers, but that sub 5" range just gets more use out of me. When I do pick up another S!K it'll either be the new 4.1 or the 4.5. Though the 6 & the 8 sing their siren song.
