I've got my 61st coming up in a couple of months. We had our 35th anniversary last weekend. At your age, keep your foot to the floor and tear the mirror off the
windshield. Plenty of time for coasting later on.

Didn't notice this until now, a belated Happy Birthday wishes to you!

Happy birthday. Have a drink, smell the flowers.
I know I built an AR-15 on my 29th birthday, before the booze began to flow. So, buy a gun. Oh wait...south of the border. On second thought, move north

just be happy you're not turning 99. i'm 29 as well and certainly preparing to make many changes in my life. set some goals to reach by 30. get a p90x or something lol. take care of yourself and enjoy the last year of being in your twenties.

Happy Birthday! I recently went from 29 to 30...beer doesn't taste as good anymore...you forget things like your name or where you left your knives...you get cranky if you don't have an afternoon nap or get the wrong type of sandwhich at the deli...of course I'm just teasing you :). Its just a number. You pick how much life you want to put into your years not vice versa. From what I've seen on this forum, you've already had a pretty awesome life and sincerely hope that the best years are ahead of you!

29 to 30 isn't too much of a big deal. What really stands out as life changing is when you 1. Get married, 2. have children.

Those things are much better mile-markers than any number.:D

I agree with the whole get-in-shape thing. Around 30, I wasn't really paying much attention to my body, and excercise routine. I'm regretting it now, as I don't remember putting on this extra weight, and it's very difficult to get up the momentum to do anything about it now, with all the time responsibilities of having a family.

I turned 29 today. What can I expect from my last year of being in my twenties.

What were all you doing when you were 29 ?
Any advice ?

Happy Birthday! I turn 29 in about a week so I can't give you any experience I've gained first hand. However, I will pass on a bit of information I have received by someone who has crossed that threshold. Beginning at age 30, be extra careful before breaking wind because you may just surprise yourself when something other than just air is expelled.

Sorry so late, Ed.
Hope ya' had a good one !
